The Pacific Ocean is home to many islands and Hawaii is one of them. Actually Hawaii islands are a collection of 137 islands and atolls. Out of these the main islands are Hawaii, Lanai, Oahu, Molokai, Kauai and Nihau. The Hawaiian Islands radiate awe-inspiring natural beauty, which woo the tourists and they keep coming back for more. The people of Hawaii are friendly and welcome tourists to their country.

The islands of Hawaii enjoy a mild climate throughout the year hence tourist visits are not bound to a particular season. However Hawaii tourism sees a major boost during the major holidays and the summer months.

The major tourist attractions include the Tropical Botanical Garden, the Akaka Falls, the largest waterfall on the island and the Volcanoes National Park. Being active, volcanically, there are large black sand beaches. These are the volcanic lava deposits that cool down on coming in contact with the ocean and are washed ashore mixing with the sand and making it appear black.
